  Table No. 9
This part which includes the other space on the map where Tommasi Ferroni was able to construct
a symbolic sketch.  The female wolf of the Capitoline represents the fifth scene opening to the city which is symbolically represented by the "new entrance" of Fiumicino airport.  The colosseum now in restauration is recognizable as is the Pantheon, the synagoghue, the Mosque, the Basilica of St. Paul outside the Walls, the new Auditorium, the "prophyleum of Villa Borghese, the Villa Farnese on the Lungara the the Vatican Library.  Closing the composition is Castel Gandolfo, the summer residence of the Holy Father.  What really characterizes the composition is the chaotic traffic of Rome today!
