In the
margins around the map are
found, "architectural
sketches", drawings
illustrating the urban changes of
the last decades (Fiumicino airport,
the Olympic stadium, the Mosque,
the Synagogue etc.). They were created
by the skillfull hands of the famous
artist Riccardo Tommasi Ferroni and
elegantly engraved by Patrizio di
Sciullo and Giuseppe Greco.
The
plan was produced on nine copper
plates, each 50 x 60 cm, printed by
hand on acid-free paper. The prints
can be joined to form the full plan.
The full page measures 174 x 190 cm,
the printed part 154 x 170 cm.
Three
hundred numbered copies have been
printed..
