OFFICE OF THE LITURGICAL CELEBRATIONS OF THE SUPREME PONTIFF
JUBILEE OF PRIESTS
On 18 May 2000, Thursday of the Fourth Week of Easter, at 10:00 a.m., the Holy Father, on the occasion of his Eightieth Birthday, will concelebrate the Eucharist with priests present in Rome. The concelebration will take place in Saint Peters Square. 1. Meeting places
- Cardinals: Chapel of Saint Sebastian in Saint Peters Basilica (9:30 a.m.)
- Archbishops and Bishops: Braccio di Costantino, entrance from the Bronze Door at the end of the left colonnade (9:15).
- Priests: Paul VI Audience Hall, entrance from the Piazza del SantUffizio (8:30).
2. Vesture: Cardinals, Archbishops and Bishops will find vestments ready in their respective meeting places. Cardinals should however bring with them the white damask mitre, Bishops the simple white mitre. Priests should bring with them an amice, alb, cincture and white stole. 3. Arrangements At the proper time, the concelebrants, led by the Masters of Ceremonies, will take their places in Saint Peters Square. 4. Mass The celebration of Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. The Cardinals will enter in procession with the Holy Father.
