The Pope has accepted the resignation presented, for reasons of age, by
His Eminence Cardinal Paul Josef Cordes as President of the Pontifical
Council Cor Unum and has called to succeed him in this task His
Excellency Archbishop Robert Sarah, Archbishop Emeritus of Conakry,
until now Secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of
Peoples.
