MESSAGE OF SOLIDARITY FOR A TRAGEDY IN THE BRONX

We are aware of the recent tragedy  in the Bronx, that has taken the lives of African adults as well as children who were immigrants of the Malì.

For its competences, this Dicastary for the Pastoral Care of Migrants and Itinerant People would like to extend to the Archdiocese of New York, and to You in particular its solidarity, and  deepest  condolences to their relatives and friends who have been affected by this tragedy.

You are assured of our fervent prayers that the Lord continues to give you the necessary  strength and courage to maintain the existing facilities for the benefit of the poor and needy  immigrant. May the Lord be merciful to the victims and their loved ones.
