XXV Year  - 2003 - Mintage in euro

The Numismatic Office of Vatican City State is pleased to present to the public of collectors the series of coins in Euros, bearing the inscription "2003 - XXV Anno del Pontificato di Sua Santità Giovanni Paolo II"; it comes in proof version in an elegant case, together with a silver medal. So here are the coins of 2 and 1 Euros, and then those of  50, 20, 10, 5, 2 and 1 Eurocents, in common with all the countries and the national law; on the reverse side of the coins appears the profile of John Paul II, Sovereign of Vatican City State, the work of Guido Veroi. Together with the splendid series in Proof version, a silver medal designed by Floriano Bodini, on the theme Art interprets Art:Omaggio a Leonardo.
