Docile to the action of the Spirit

Mother Teresa Simonato, President of UMSI (Union of Superior Majors of Italy), from the magazine Consecration and Service, sends to all the religious a message which encompasses some indications so that the Jubilee mat mark in the life of the consecrated a strong moment of celebration and especially a moment to strengthen their mission. Mother Teresa urged them “to cross the threshold of the new millennium, renewing the docility to the action of the Spirit, following with simple faith and ‘according to the grace conferred to each one’ (Rm 12:6) the itinerary proposed to each Christian. Grace donated in Jesus Christ to free His life for us, to serve, to provide testimony with one’s life”. It’s about being a testimony on the frontiers of the history of the primacy of God and of the dignity of the children, a testimony open to inter-religious dialogue with a profound look on the different human realities. “Religious life feels it must take on with vigour and courage the Jubilee moments, which if they do not move to conversion will be transformed into a mere choreography”. A competition will be launched and open to all the juniors of Italy: “I dream consecrated life.
