Offices and OrganiSational Information

     The offices of the Pontifical Council "Cor Unum" are located in Palazzo San Pio X, which is at No. 5 in Via della Conciliazione in Rome.

 

     The Dicastery's President is Cardinal Robert Sarah from Guinea-Conakry. The Council itself is composed of two groups: one half comprised of appointed clergy, religious, and lay members, and the other half made up of representatives of national and international Catholic agencies and organisations that operate in the field of integral human promotion and emergency relief. This Council is composed of six Cardinals,  four Archbishops, six Bishops, a prelate, a religious sister, a religious brother, three lay members, and representatives from nineteen international organizations and agencies from five different continents; there are also three consultors.

 

     The daily work of the Dicastery is assured by the Secretary, Monsignor Giampietro Dal Toso, the Under-Secretary, Monsignor Segundo Tejado Muñoz, and a staff of eight, consisting of laity, religious, and clergy.
