Rescriptum ex Audientia Sanctissimi (20 May 2026)

RESCRIPTUM EX AUDIENTIA SANCTISSIMI

The Supreme Pontiff Leo XIV, in the audience granted to the undersigned Cardinal Secretary of State on 20 May 2026, approved the new Statute of the Pontifical Commission for the Protection of Minors, attached hereto, ad experimentum for a three-year period.

The Holy Father has furthermore ordered that this Rescriptum be published in L’Osservatore Romano, and then in the official gazette Acte Apostolicae Sedis, with immediate effect.
