train, as a means of
transportation from the Vatican,
has been used by Pope John XXIII
for his voyage to Assisi and
Loreto on 4 Octorber 1962 and by
Pope John Paul II on 8 November
1979 to go to the Deposit of the
Italian Railroad at
Roma-Salario, where he
celebrated Holy Mass on the
occasion of the Day of the
Railwayman.
