immediate transfer by car to the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli

-greeting to the members of the National Committee for the Eighth Centenary of the death of St Francis of Assisi

10.30 a.m. In the Basilica: Celebration of Holy Mass

12.00 p.m. The Holy Father leaves the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli

12.15 p.m. at the helicopter: the Holy Father takes leave of the Authorities who welcomed Him upon arrival
