"SAN LORENZO" INTERNATIONAL YOUTH CENTRE The San Lorenzo International Youth Centre is overseen and coordinated by the Pontifical Council for the Laity Youth Section. The Centre was opened in 1983 in response to the desire of Pope John Paul II to have a place in Rome where young pilgrims would find a welcome and would have the opportunity to share the message of the Gospel with other young people from around the world.
