4. Dr. Michele Lissia, Mayor of Pavia

5. Dr. Giovanni Palli, President of the Province of Pavia.

Immediate transfer by car to the National Centre for Oncological Hadrontherapy (CNAO).

15.00 At the entrance of the CNAO, the Holy Father will be welcomed by:

1. Dr. Gianluca Vago, President

2. Dr. Sandro Rossi, Director.

The Holy Father will meet and greet various managers, medical staff, and some children undergoing treatment, accompanied by their parents.

15.30 The Holy Father will leave the CNAO and transfer by car to the Basilica of San Pietro in Ciel d’Oro

15.45 Convent of the Augustinian Fathers.

The Holy Father will be welcomed by:

1. Father Joseph L. Farrell, Prior General

2. Father Gabriele Pedicino, Provincial Prior

3. Father Gianfranco Casagrande, Prior of the Convent.

Brief meeting with the Augustinian Community.

In the Cloister: greeting to the bishops of Lombardy and some collaborators.

16.15 The bishops, clergy, consecrated men and women and permanent deacons of Lombardy will be present in the Basilica.

Celebration of the Word and veneration of the relics of Saint Augustine.

17.00 The Holy Father will leave the Basilica and greet the faithful in the adjacent square.

Transfer by car to Piazza Duomo.

On the parvis of the Cathedral, the Holy Father will receive a floral tribute from some children, and will greet the children and the South American community present in the Square.

The Holy Father will enter the Cathedral, welcomed by members of the Chapter; adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and pause before the altar of Saint Syrus, first bishop and patron of the diocese and the city.

17.15 The Holy Father will leave the Cathedral and proceed to Piazza Vittoria on foot.

17.30 Piazza Vittoria: meeting with the citizenry:

18.30 The Holy Father will leave Piazza Vittoria and proceed to the Rugby CUS Field of Cravino, where he will bid farewell to the authorities who welcomed him upon arrival.

18.45 Departure from Pavia.

18.55 Arrival at the “Carlo Chiesa” municipal Stadium in Via Francesco Cortese.

The Holy Father will be welcomed by:

1. Bishop Maurizio Malvestiti of Lodi

2. Dr. Cristiano Devecchi, Mayor of Sant’Angelo Lodigiano.

Transfer by car to the parish of Santi Antonio Abate e Francesca Cabrini, where he will be welcomed by the parish priest, Msgr. Enzo Raimondi.

In the Church: adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and veneration of the Heart of Saint Francesca Cabrini.
